We can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries and TMJ disorders, and performs a full range of dental implant and bone grafting procedures.

Drs. Schenkman and Biernacki's staff is trained in assisting with I.V. sedation within our state of the art office setting.

Dr. Mark D. Schenkman earned his Bachelor of Science degree at State University of New York at Albany and received his Doctorate (D.D.S.) from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. He completed a General Dentistry Residency at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Sepulveda, California and completed his Oral Surgery Residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. To assure that he stays up-to-date on all the latest advancements in his field, Dr. Schenkman maintains membership in a number of prestigious professional organizations including: the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Rhode Island Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the Rhode Island Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Massachusetts Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Greater Woonsocket Dental Society of which he is a past president. Dr. Schenkman strives to provide each of his patients with the quality care that they have come to expect.

Dr. Schenkman and his staff are going green and becoming an all digital practice. From our movie viser to help relax you to the ability for your general dentist to email xrays and referrals. Dr. Schenkman is also newly involved with PBHS Collaborator which is a way for your general dentist and his office to communicate details of your case. Your dentist will be able to view all recent progress of your dental treatment here at Dr. Schenkman's office as well as communicate through a Dr's discussion board and send xrays through this site as another option besides email. Anything sent or recieved through PBHS Collaborator is HIPPA compliant.

Dr. Schenkman has also created a study club and will be mentoring general dentists in the area.
